The video game blog Joystiq discovered a recent trademark filing for the word “Margaritaville” that would permit its use for video gaming purposes.
The filing covers several classes including computer game software and software for mobile phones.
Joystiq offers these fun guesses for what it could be:
- A near-endless RPG: The Quest for the Lost Shaker of Salt
- A sailing simulator: Son of a Son of a Sailing Simulator
- A smooth rhythm game, which is sadly what it probably will be
- A smooth rhythm game/sailing simulator, which … which might be kind of magical
