CMT Special and Live Show Tonight

CMT will air “Jimmy Buffett Uncut: 60 Minutes Special” tonight at 7 pm central time. It’s a full hour of interview footage in which the music man from Mobile answers questions from Steve Kroft of CBS News.

Also tonight, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band perform live from Sunrise, Florida. You can listen to the show live on Radio Margaritaville beginning at 7 pm central time. Also, chat with other parrotheads on the discussion board during the show.

Jimmy Buffett may be a beach-bum troubadour to his Parrothead fans, but he’s Nashville’s newest icon. Country stars have signed up in droves to sing with him ever since he and Alan Jackson scored a No. 1 hit with It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere, a hedonistic anthem that fits Buffett’s slap-happy escapism.

Jimmy Kicks Off ASPOL Tour

The 2005 Salty Piece of Land Tour kicked off Thursday night in Columbia, South Carolina at the sold-out Colonial Center.

Buffett brought out some obscure songs that haven’t been played much in recent years, including Presents to Send You, Last Mango in Paris, Bananan Republics, Diamond as Big as the Ritz, and Uncle John’s Band.
