The first trailer for next summer’s ‘Jurassic World’ premiered today, and if you’ve got an eye for detail you’ll notice a certain restaurant in the background as a mob of people run for their lives from a hybrid dinosaur.

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Masrani Corporation. Owen (Chris Pratt), a member of Jurassic World’s on-site staff, conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors, but things go awry when the research team accidentally unleashes a genetically-modified hybrid dinosaur into the park.

Another Jimmy Buffett property is set to close by the end of the year. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the Margaritaville at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona will close its doors in December.

“We anticipated and have been planning for the closure of Margaritaville,” Jeff Teetsel, development manager for Westgate, said in an email. “As we’ve successfully implemented elsewhere in the center, we will repurpose the space with tenants that are in line with current market and entertainment trends as the exciting evolution of Westgate Entertainment District continues.”

When Teetsel was asked to expand on why Margaritaville was was leaving or what is lined up to move into its space he replied, “As a matter of policy, we don’t discuss the details of our tenant relationships.”

Officials with Margaritaville did not return phone calls seeking comment.

The Margaritaville Glendale restaurant was completed in 2008 and included a concert by Buffett to celebrate the grand opening.

The Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi, MS closed in September and the Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber in Hawaii closed and then recently re-opened under new operators. Despite the recent closings, new Margaritaville locations are in development in Syracuse, NY and San Antonio, TX.

He did it! Mac McAnally once again won Musician of the Year tonight at the 48th annual CMA Awards. It’s Mac’s seventh consecutive win, breaking a record held by fiddler Mark O’Connor.

“I have to be the least deserving winner … but that doesn’t mean I’m not grateful for it,” says McAnally. “The guys I’m nominated with honestly deserve it at least as much as I deserve it … But I’m the most grateful guy that’s ever gotten the award, I’ll say that.”

The 48th annual CMA Awards will air Wednesday night, and singer/songwriter (and Coral Reefer) Mac McAnally is looking to set a record for consecutive Musician of the Year wins.

The multi-talented performer has already won seven CMA Musician of the Year awards – six in a row – and he’s once again nominated in the same category. First nominated in 2007, he’s won the award each year since 2008, tying the consecutive-win record set by fiddler Mark O’Connor (1991-96). If he picks up another CMA award for his artistry with a guitar Wednesday night, he’ll become the record-holder for most consecutive wins in the category.

Watch the CMA Awards live on ABC at 8pm ET. The Musician of the Year award is typically awarded before the live show.

Jimmy Buffett recently recorded a video at his home in Florida, expressing his support for two amendments on the ballot next Tuesday in the state of Florida.

Amendment 1 is known as the Florida Water and Land Conservation Initiative, and Amendment 2 is the Florida Right to Medical Marijuana Initiative.

Buffett describes his support for both initiatives in the video below. With amendment 2, Buffett talks about how using medical marijuana helped him recover from his injuries after the stage fall in Australia.
