Tickets for the May 1st Freddy & The Fishsticks (better known as Jimmy Buffett and a condensed version of the Coral Reefer Band) show at the New Orleans Margaritaville Cafe will go on sale Friday, April 25th at 10 am central time via Blacktie-Louisiana.com.

Ticket prices are $200 each, with proceeds going to BORN (Better Opportunities Right Now) and NOAAHH (New Orleans Artists Against Hunger & Homelessness).

There are no physical tickets for this event and no advanced pick up available. You must have Positive Photo ID to present at the door. Entire party must be present to enter and must be 21 years of age. No Exceptions. There is a limit of 4 tickets per person.

Jimmy and a smaller combo have performed under the moniker at various small venue shows in the past.

Jimmy Buffett will appear at the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island in August. The Boston Globe has the details:

Buffett – whose “Margaritaville” is a staple at arenas and tailgate parties – is considering playing a stripped-down set with just two acoustic guitars at his Newport debut. “I threatened to do Newport before I was gone, and I seriously want to honor the heritage of the festival,” Buffett says. “I came up as a folk singer. I’ve always loved the idea of being a balladeer. You know, I might do Gordon Lightfoot’s ‘Canadian Railroad Trilogy.’ I am not going to do a Parrothead show.”

Tickets for the Newport Folk Festival go on sale April 23 via festivalnetwork.com. Ticket prices and package options are still being confirmed and will be announced in the coming days.

We reported two weeks ago that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band would play the Nikon At Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on Thursday, August 28th. Well, we were off by one day. It has been confirmed that Buffett will play Jones Beach on Wednesday, August 27th.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 26th via TicketMaster.

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will play two shows in October at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada: Saturday, October 18th and Saturday, October 25th.

On sale date for tickets is not yet known, but it may be April 14th – that’s when the two California shows that have been announced are to go on sale. We’ll let you know though when we find out for sure the on sale date.
