Jimmy Buffett has announced that the three Florida shows set for this December are being rescheduled to December 2020 due to shoulder surgery:

Due to needed shoulder surgery planned for Jimmy Buffett – with time for recovery and therapy – it is necessary to reschedule three upcoming Florida shows.

All tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored on the new date. Fans who cannot attend the new date can get refunds at point of purchase. Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band regret the postponement, but look forward to partying in 2020 in Florida!

Fresh off a couple of shows in Canada, Jimmy Buffett has announced that he’ll head even further into the north to play a show in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Big-time entertainer Jimmy Buffett will be at Holy Heart for one night only: September 17.

The performer-extraordinaire will bring his “Son of a Son of a Sailor High Tide” tour to Newfoundland and Labrador. The Son of Son of a Sailor LP was released in 1978, the title song being written about Buffett’s grandfather. That LP also included the hit Cheeseburger in Paradise.

There are indications that Buffett’s family has Newfoundland roots on the southwest coast. Buffett’s grandfather was a sailor who was born in Rose Blanche but later moved to Cape Breton.
