Virginia Goes Under the Big Top for Act 1
September 2nd, 2010
The circus came to town Thursday night as Jimmy and the Reefers moved the Under The Big Top Tour to the Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater (formerly Nissan Pavilion) in Bristow, VA.
Notable additions to the set list this time included “Rhumba Man,” last played in February, “If the Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’s Me,” and “Dixie Chicken”, last played in 2007, featuring Bill Payne on Keyboards and dedicated to Little Feat’s late drummer, Richie Heyward. The Gulf Coast Version of “When the Coast is Clear” was tonight’s final encore.
