Mac Wins CMA Musician of the Year for Sixth Time

Coral Reefer Band member and singer/songwriter Mac McAnally won Musician of the Year for the sixth time in a row at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards in Nashville.

“I’m just proud to be one of the many who live on either side of the stage and in the fine print of CD covers,” McAnally told the TimesDaily. “It’s what I’ve wanted to do as long as I (can) remember. I’m so grateful.
“I’m happy and honored and feel guilty enough to go home and practice for a week.
