The Bonnaroo Music Festival’s website has confirmed what we reported Tuesday: Jimmy Buffett will join Ilo and the Coral Reefer All Stars on stage at the festival this Saturday at Noon on the Which Stage.

The festival takes place in Manchester, Tennessee, which is about 60 miles southeast of Nashville and northwest of Chattanooga.

Jimmy Buffett is in Nashville recording music according to singer/songwriter Tommy Womack’s Facebook:

Tommy Womack: I just spent an hour in a recording studio watching Jimmy Buffet record my song. God is good.

This gives more credence to Nadirah Shakoor’s tweet that Jimmy will be at the Bonnaroo Music Festival on Saturday since this puts him within 70 miles of the venue.

There was no mention of what song was recorded.

Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert is airing his show “The Colbert Report” from Iraq this week. Before the trip he did not disclose where he would be going except that it would be somewhere in the Persian Gulf.

The intro for Monday’s episode had Colbert being whisked away without him knowing where he was going. He had a checklist with places written on it and one of the locations was Margaritaville. When he arrived at a hotel, he went up to the front desk and asked where the bar was and the lady said that there was no alcohol allowed there. So Stephen then crossed off Margaritaville from his list.

Coral Reefer Nadirah Shakoor posted via Twitter that she’ll be performing with Ilo and the Coral Reefer All-Stars at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this Saturday and that Jimmy Buffett and Mac McAnally will also be there:

According to the Edmonton Sun, the first Margaritaville restaurant in Canada will open next year in Edmonton:

Look for a Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Cafe to open in west-end Edmonton next year, full of boats and planes and the Key West atmosphere so celebrated in Jimmy’s tunes. It’s a happening chain stateside.

Jimmy Buffett has several Margaritaville locations in the US as well as locations in the Caribbean and Mexico.
