Advanced Screenings of “Hoot”

Walden Media, New Line Cinema, and the National Wildlife Federation are PROUD to offer two SPECIAL FREE ADVANCE SCREENING OPPORTUNITIES for Hoot, based on the Newbery Honor-winning book by Carl Hiaasen. This new ecological adventure film stars Luke Wilson, Logan Lerman, Brie Larsen, Cody Linley, and features a special performance and new music by Jimmy Buffett. Opens nationwide April 21st.
April 8th 10am is our traditional free sneak preview. In addition, some preview sites will host special presentations from the National Wildlife Federation on how schools, kids and families in your own neighborhoods are taking a stand and preserving endangered habitats.
April 13th 4:30 PST/7:30 EST is a special LIVE simulcast of the film broadcast from the Edwards Orange County Spectrum Theatre in Southern California. Immediately after the film, Jimmy Buffett will appear with author Carl Hiaasen, director Wil Shriner and other select cast members in a dynamic discussion about the book and the film. This special live broadcast will conclude with Jimmy Buffett performing 3 songs from the film soundtrack!
