The upcoming benefit concert at Madison Square Garden for those affected by Hurricane Katrina, in which Jimmy Buffett will perform, will be available live on pay-per-view television.

Major cable operators will give all proceeds to support the long-term relief and rebuilding efforts on the Gulf Coast, it was announced Thursday. The telecast, which will be available at a cost of $19.95 to viewers, will begin Tuesday at 7 p.m. (EDT).

According to Cayman Island News, a Margaritaville will open in the Anchorage Centre on Grand Cayman in May 2006. The establishment will feature a water slide into an upstairs swimming pool, a swim–up pool bar and spas.

Tickets are on sale now for “From the Big Apple To the Big Easy: Hurricane Katrina Benefit Concert” from Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, September 20th.

There are five levels of tickets prices from $500-50 with all proceeds going to hurricane relief.

On October 2nd, The Tri-State/Philly Parrot Head Foundation will be hosting a Katrina Relief Benefit at The Lagoon in Essington, PA and all net monetary proceeds will be given to the American Red Cross.

In addition, we will be collecting “gently used” clothes and household items to donate to The City of Philadelphia’s ‘Project Brotherly Love’. This will help service the approximate 1,000 families arriving from New Orleans to Philadelphia.
