The show was back on the road tonight as Jimmy and the band continued the August Session of the Summerzcool Tour with a show in Bridgeview, Illinois.

The set list was primarily the same as recent shows with the exception of a few songs. “Pencil Thin Mustache” and “Scarlet Begonias” both returned to the set list. Special guests included Joe Perry of Aerosmith joining Jimmy and the band for “Margaritaville” complete with the lost verse.

The 2009 Summerzcool Tour continues Tuesday with a show in Indianapolis, Indiana. There’s still plenty of time to get your tickets now!

The show was back on the road tonight as Jimmy and the band began the August Session of the Summerzcool Tour with a show in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The set list was primarily the same as recent shows with the exception of a few songs. “Rocky Raccoon,” the classic Beatles song, was performed with Peter Mayer sharing vocals with Jimmy. The song was last played in October 2001 when Jimmy played it by himself at the last Sag Harbour benefit show. “Tin Cup Chalice” was also performed as the final encore.

The show was back on the road tonight as Jimmy and the band played the next stop on the Summerzcool Tour with a show in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

The set list was primarily the same as recent shows with the exception of one song. “Tin Cup Chalice” returned in the encore for the first time on this leg of the tour. Sweet Sally Taylor also joined Jimmy and the band for “Brown Eyed Girl.” Jake Shimabukuro added his Ukulele sounds to select songs all night as well.

The 2009 Summerzcool Tour continues Saturday with the second of two shows at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. There’s still plenty of time to get your tickets now!

The Summerzcool tour was back tonight as Jimmy and the band played the second of two shows on this leg of the Summerzcool Tour in Camden, New Jersey.

The set list was primarily the same with the exception of a couple of songs. “Uncle John’s Band,” last played April 18, 2006 in Phoenix, took the place of “Scarlet Begonias” in the second set. The other change came in the encore as “Another Saturday Night,” last played July 26, 2008 in Chicago, replaced “Yellow Submarine” for the first time this tour.

The 2009 Summerzcool Tour continues Tuesday with a show from the Post Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA. There’s still plenty of time to get your tickets now!

The Summerzcool tour was back rolling tonight as Jimmy and the band began the east coast run with the first show of the third leg of the Summerzcool Tour in Camden, New Jersey.

The set list was the same as the past legs except for “Scarlet Begonias,” a hold over from Bonnaroo, replacing “Coast of Carolina” and the tour premiere of “Nautical Wheelers” to close the show. “Nautical” was last played in February of this year at the special show with Mac McAnally in Key West.
