Last Session of Summerzcool Begins in Florida
February 20th, 2010
The big show finally made it to Florida on Saturday night as Jimmy and the band began the last session of the Summerzcool Tour with a show in Jacksonville, Florida.
The set list featured a few surprises. The first one came early in the set as Jimmy brought back “Window on the World” for the first time since February 10, 2007 in Tallahassee, FL. It was dedicated to the astronauts aboard the space shuttle Endeavour who used the song as a wake up call last week.
Other surprises included a full band version of “Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit,” a beach band version of “Migration,” “Rhumba Man” in the first encore, and a solo version of “Tryin’ to Reason with Hurricane Season” to end the show.
