N920JB – Pilatus PC-12 NG

return to Aviation

Jimmy Buffett purchased N920JB new in 2012, bringing his fleet size to six (including the retired Hemisphere Dancer).

The PC-12, built by Swiss aircraft maker Pilatus, is a versatile single-engine turboprop. It has a large cabin, capable of carrying 6-7 passengers in addition to the two crew seats up front.

The PC-12 does not require a type rating as it’s not jet-powered and weighs less than 12,500 pounds. It is also approved and often flown single-pilot.
