While the show is free, fans will need a ticket to get into the gig, and pairs of tickets can be won beginning Tuesday, April 1, through these media outlets: Margaritaville.com , New Times , KNIX 102.5, MIX 96.9, KEZ 99.9, KFYI 550, XTRA 910, 944 Magazine and Radio Margaritaville. Tickets can also be won at the Glendale Margaritaville location, as the restaurant will be drawing to give away 60 tickets daily.

Doors for he Glendale show open at 4:30 and Buffett, who will be accompanied by longtime backing guitarist Mac MacAnally, play at 5:30.

Update – Radio Margaritaville will broadcast the show live! Join Miles Hampton for the pre-show from 6pm – 9pm eastern time. Jimmy will then take the stage for an intimate, free concert.

Radio Margaritaville will be giving away tickets on the air: Tickets are available free by phoning Radio Margaritaville on Thursday April 3, 2008 after specific announcements to call in are made during the Noon, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm and 10pm Eastern hours. The toll free line to call is 1-866-557-2776. The first ten callers who respond and can be verified will win a pair of tickets.

Another rumored show: Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on Thursday, August 28th.

Jimmy and Jane Buffett’s second child turns sixteen today. Sarah Delaney Buffett was born April 1st, 1992. The song “Delaney Talks To Statues” from the album Fruitcakes was written about her.

I wonder if Jimmy was at the Florida DMV this morning?

Buffett has two other children: Savannah Jane, age 28, and Cameron Marley, who was adopted by the Buffetts in 1994.

As we reported two weeks ago, Jimmy Buffett will play a free show at his new Margaritaville Cafe in Glendale, Arizona. The date is now set: Wednesday, April 9th, according to AZCentral.com.

Although the private concert is free, tickets are required for entry. Fans can win pairs of tickets through various Valley media outlets or by visiting Margaritaville, in Westgate City Center. Winners of tickets will be chosen nightly at the restaurant.

The Glendale Margaritaville opened in November. Just last month, Buffett opened another Margaritaville in Panama City, Florida.
