Watch Jimmy Sing at Ralph MacDonald Tribute

On January 16, 2012 Jimmy Buffett sang in tribute to the life of composer, percussionist, producer and friend, Ralph MacDonald. This tribute to Ralph was held at the Palace Theater in Stamford Connecticut where Ralph lived from 1979 until his untimely passing on December 18, 2011.

Watch Promo for Buffett’s Hawaii Five-0 Episode

This Monday, Jimmy Buffett will be a guest star on the CBS television show “Hawaii Five-0.”

McGarrett finds himself in need of the Five-0’s help when he goes to North Korea with Jenna Kaye to deliver a ransom to rebels who are holding her fiancé hostage. Meanwhile, the Five-0 investigate the murder of an investigative reporter who seems to have ties to Jenna, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Monday, Nov. 21 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett guest stars as Frank Bama, a helicopter pilot and friend of Joe White’s who helps the Five-0 in North Korea.

Video of Buffett Playing Key West

NBC Miami has an article on Buffett’s appearance in Key West yesterday:

“I heard I was in town,” the former Key West resident said as he walked onstage Friday, referencing one of his well-known song titles. “This is pretty cool, playing on Duval Street.”

He then played 15 songs such as “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” “Tin Cup Chalice,” Nautical Wheelers,” and “Woman Goin’ Crazy on Caroline Street,” the Florida Keys News Bureau reported.
