Contrary to the Jimmy Buffett song that inspired the Margaritaville line of seafood products, you won’t be “wastin’ away … in Margaritaville” because the coconut shrimp packs plenty of sun-drenched island flavor, along with a volcanic eruption of calories and fat grams.

Here’s the blueprint: 24-30 extra-large shrimp, butterflied and dredged in coconut breading, then deep-fried and flash-frozen. The box contains two pouches of sweet-and-spicy dipping sauce.

Jimmy Buffett played a Hurricane Relief Concert on Wednesday night at the Fillmore Auditorium. The $200-a-person event was a “once in a lifetime experience” according to one parrothead who attended.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit Gulf Coast Hurricane Relief. The performance is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th at 8:00 PM. Doors for this special general admission event will open at 6:00PM. Tickets are general admission at $200.00 plus applicable service charges.

Tickets will be ONLY AVAILABLE via www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will NOT BE AVAILABLE at The Fillmore Box Office or charge by phone or Ticketmaster outlets. There is a two-ticket limit per customer. This concert is a “WILL CALL ONLY” event. Each customer will need to bring their government-issued photo ID and credit card used to purchase the tickets to the box office window on the day of the show to redeem the tickets. Once the ticket order is redeemed the customer must directly enter The Fillmore.

** All will call tickets must be picked up by the card holder. Alternate names for Will Call will not be permitted. Ticketmaster at its discretion will cancel any and all orders with out notice that exceed the ticket limit. This includes duplicate orders having the same name, bill address or credit card. **
