Here’s the episode synopsis:
“On The Arm” – Danny pursues Dickie Delaney (Jimmy Buffett), a con artist pretending to be the legendary singer Jimmy Buffett, after he’s tricked into paying for the scammer’s meal at an expensive restaurant. Also, Frank investigates NYPD Captain Terrell (Regina Taylor), who is using her badge to get free wares from local stores; Erin worries about her reputation when she’s the subject of a salacious, anonymous police blog; and Jamie introduces a decades-old saluting rule in the precinct, on the CBS Original series BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Jan. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. Singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett guest stars as Dickie Delaney, a Jimmy Buffett impersonator. Regina Taylor guest stars as NYPD Captain Terrell.

November 19th, 2021Jimmy Buffett recently filmed an appearance on the CBS drama ‘Blue Bloods.’

A music legend is coming to Blue Bloods.
While it’s been known for a while that Lyle Lovett will be reprising his role as Texas Ranger Waylon Gates, it’s now confirmed that the series will feature an appearance by famed musician/author/actor Jimmy Buffett.
What role he’ll play on the show is unknown, but it looks like he’ll be having a good time.
The singer has done some acting, mostly in cameo roles like Jurassic World. His biggest part was Frank Bama, a former military veteran turned helicopter pilot in several episodes of Hawaii Five-0.
As the episode is currently filming, it likely won’t air until early next year. It’s uncertain what kind of role Buffett will have.
Wahlberg posted a photo of himself and Buffett filming together at Rockaway Beach in Queens, New York.

July 5th, 2021Jimmy Buffett performed a special version of “This Land is Your Land” on PBS last night:
Jimmy Buffett put a tropical spin on the United States’ most famous folk song during A Capitol Fourth.
During Sunday (July 4) evening’s broadcast on PBS, the multi-platinum selling music legend gave the world premiere of his new version of Woody Guthrie’s 1944 anthem, “This Land Is Your Land,” which was ukulele-infused.
The iconic singer’s pre-taped performance was filmed poolside in Southern California overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Buffett’s performance also incorporated clips of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Grand Canyon, Statue Of Liberty and more.
“I have always been a big admirer of Woody Guthrie’s, his simple songs and poignant lyrics,” Buffett previously said. “They were some of the first songs I learned to play. I have been lucky enough to travel this land and think it is the best song that encapsulates what America means and is.”

June 30th, 2021The 41st annual A Capitol Fourth broadcast will feature Jimmy Buffett performing a special rendition of the Woody Guthrie classic “This Land is Your Land”
This July 4, PBS’ A CAPITOL FOURTH, America’s Independence Day celebration, will feature the world premiere of multi-platinum selling music legend Jimmy Buffett’s inspired version of the Americana classic, “This Land is Your Land.” Taped in Southern California overlooking the Pacific Ocean, interwoven with iconic scenes from across the country including the Golden Gate Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon, the performance also features Coral Reefer band members Mike Utley on keys and Robert Greenidge on steel drums. Originally written in 1940 by folk singer Woody Guthrie, “This Land is Your Land” was not recorded until April, 1944 in New York when Guthrie was on shore leave from the Merchant Marines. In 2002, it became one of 50 recordings chosen that year by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry. Buffett previously performed on the 2018 edition of A CAPITOL FOURTH with the Broadway cast of the musical Escape To Margaritaville.
