On Wednesday night in Key West, Jimmy Buffett played a special show for nearly three hours with a set list primarily composed of songs voted on by fans.

The concert was broadcast live on Margaritaville TV. Did you miss it? You can listen to a rebroadcast on Friday night at 9pm ET on Radio Margaritaville.

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are in Key West and will perform a special show at the San Carlos Theater with a set list voted on by the fans. Speaking of the fans, a couple hundred won tickets to the show and will be in attendance at the intimate venue.

Next month Jimmy Buffett will perform an acoustic set in Tallahassee as part of the third annual Everglades Action Day.

The singer-songwriter, who often dips his toes into the waters of politics, will appear at a rally to “Save Florida’s Drinking Water” hosted by the Everglades Coalition. Everglades Action Day brings Floridians to Tallahassee to meet with lawmakers on the importance of the Everglades, which provides about 8 million Floridians with drinking water. Buffett will appear with fellow musicians Mac McAnally and Robert Greenidge.

It will be Buffett’s second appearance in Tallahassee within the past year. In October, he played a show for supporters of U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham during her congressional campaign.

The last few days Jimmy Buffett has released clues for a special surprise and on Monday afternoon the surprise was revealed. Jimmy will play a special show in Key West on April 1st with the entire set list determined by vote!

A couple hundred will win tickets to the show, and one lucky winner will even win an all expense paid trip to the show including a meeting with Jimmy and the Coral Reefers backstage.

The San Carlos theater (capacity: 300) is where it all started.

Jimmy and the Coral Reefer Band first performed here in the 70’s and they’re returning to play a special show where YOU pick the set list. Simply choose your favorite songs from the lists and submit them. The 27 songs with the most votes make the show! (Don’t worry – Jimmy will arrange the order of the songs to make a fun show.)

Plus, everyone who enters is automatically entered for a chance to win tickets to the show, and one lucky winner will win an all-expenses paid trip to Key West to see the show live! We’ll let you know by March 2nd, 2015 if you won tickets so you can plan your trip.

Jimmy Buffett will be back in the lineup for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Sunday, April 26th. It’s Jimmy’s first time performing his own show at the event since 2012.
