The 208 Caravan is a single-engine turboprop utility transport airplane built by the Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas. The airplane typically seats 9-14 depending on the configuration. Designed in the early 80’s, the Caravan has become one of the most popular workhorses of cargo/freight operators with more than 1,000 sold.

Jimmy bought N208JB in 2009, registering it in August. Before the new Caravan, Buffett owned a 1998 Caravan (pictured right). He initially registered the new one with tail number N915JB, but transfered over N208JB later.
