LiveNation is confirming to VIP members that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform two shows at the Comcast Center (formerly Great Woods) in Mansfield, MA outside of Boston in June:

Thursday, June 17th and Saturday, June 19th

Tickets on sale this Saturday (2/13) at 10 am ET through TicketMaster. Prices are $28.50 – $128.50.

The Chicago Tribune featured an ad in Sunday’s paper for Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band at Toyota Park in suburban Chicago on Saturday, August 14th.

The tour name is “Under The Big Top” and tickets for the show will go on sale Monday, February 15th at 10 am CT through TicketMaster.

The past few years Jimmy has played two shows at Toyota Park, but there will only be one this year. Toyota Park is a major league soccer stadium in Bridgeview, IL, southwest of downtown Chicago.

With this announcement, it is entirely possible that the full spring and summer tour schedule will be released this week. Check back regularly for the latest tour dates!

According to the Indy Star, Jimmy Buffett will play a private show for an NFL owners’ party this weekend:

Indianapolis’ Tom Battista is making his way to South Florida this week, but not to watch the Super Bowl.

Battista, who has been Jimmy Buffett’s stage manager for 17 years, is organizing a small 60- to 90-minute show for an NFL owners’ private party. Some of the owners apparently are Parrotheads.

Saturday’s show and soiree, which includes Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, is to take place at the luxury resort Viceroy Miami, which is located in a spot billed as “Miami’s Wall Street of the Americas.”

“It’s a really swank hotel,” said Battista, who couldn’t say which songs Buffett would perform before today’s sound check. “Until we do sound check, we won’t really know.”

About 300 people are expected.

Jimmy will be at the Viceroy Hotel on Saturday for a charity event.
