Cincinnati Enquirer Article on Buffett

June 5th, 2006

The Cincinnati Enquirer has an article on Buffett coming to town on Thursday:

Buffett brings his Party at the End of the World tour to town Thursday evening for a sold-out show in front of 20,500 folks at Riverbend. Like every one of his shows here since the mid-’80s, he sold out in a matter of minutes. This promises to be one of the busiest, most raucous parties of the year.

If you’re not going to the concert, there’s still a way to enjoy the Buffett experience. That would be the second annual “Where It All BEGANniversary,” Party with a Purpose II, a six-hour extravaganza at Coney Island’s Moonlite Gardens.

Buffett Does Duet For Little Feat

June 2nd, 2006

The Star-Ledger has an article on Little Feat that mentions that Buffett has recorded a duet for their new album:

Murphy says the band has been working on an album that would feature new versions of old Little Feat songs with guest singers as well as new material.

She revealed only one duet partner: Jimmy Buffett, at whose Key West studio the album’s basic tracks were recorded. But she promised the album will be “a big free-for-all, like Jimmy’s last record (the 2004 guest-filled ‘License To Chill’).”
