A rumor is coming from northwest Arkansas that Jimmy Buffett may play at the annual Wal-Mart shareholder’s meeting in June. The show would be at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayettville.

Jimmy Buffett may act like a simple beach-bum minstrel to Parrothead fans, but the performer proved again Tuesday night at the Waikiki Shell that he’s an unbeatable showman.

Only four other acts in the music business made more money than Buffett ($36.5 million) last year, who, in his “A Salty Piece of Land Tour ” — named after his best-selling novel — performance with the Coral Reefer Band, proved there’s no need to change a thing about his act.

Hawaii wraps up the spring tour. The next show will be Monday, June 13th in Toronto, Canada.

Beachcombing balladeer Jimmy Buffett has had changes in attitude as well as changes in altitude since he bought a sky-high Manhattan apartment. The Post’s Braden Keil reports the salt-shaking songwriter has shelled out $11.7 million for a 73rd-floor apartment in the Time Warner Center’s south tower.

The four-bedroom condo, with views of Central Park and both rivers, includes 51/2 bathrooms, a maid’s room, library, large gourmet kitchen and former popstar neighbor Ricky Martin a few floors below. Buffett, whose main home is in Palm Beach, also has a summer estate in the Hamptons.

Tickets for the Labor Day Weekend shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago are on sale now.

The tickets are through Tickets.com and they will be doing a Virtual Waiting Room beginning at 9:30 am CT. Get into the waiting room and then at 10 customers will be randomly selected from the waiting room to begin purchasing tickets.
