Won't have much trouble staying warm here. High of 59.

Have a great weekend friends!

I'm going to try to get those emoticons back up today

Morning world! Happy weekend!
Won't be any trouble staying warm today; mid 50's and sunny. Tomorrow, however, the high is 29 and on Monday, we're looking at a high temp of 17 and a low of 3!!! (Normally, there would be an emoticon here.)

Howdy pholks last weekend dyspraxia Texas group....in Austin....had to explain this week to one member that Lance Armstrong could find cave in the West Austin karst to hide in the trouble is locating one he could hide in that could also contain his ego difficult geometry problem there.

Well friendships that began in 68 between one generation has been restarted this generation this week.

 Spent some time updating my Postal Service profile. Because of the new contract with the letter carriers union my position, Transitional Employee, is being eliminated and replaced with a new position called City Carrier Assistant. Pays nearly six bucks an hour less, but after a year you get health care, which postal service contributes to the premiums. But, I have to reapply for my job, and no guarantee that I'll be rehired as this new position is open for anyone to apply to. What a wonderful way to reward someone for 11 years of service  One way or another April 10th will be D Day for me. I'll either go on a break in service then go back to work or someone else will get my job and I'll be a displaced employee.

At least I don't have to be at work to hit the blue mailboxes until 1:30, so I can sit here, enjoy some beer and watch AFC Championship game and the Penguins/Rangers. A fight right off the bat in my hockey game.

A few years back I worked at a presort facility. It was a private company and we collected mail from companies and could give them a cheaper rate on their postage because we'd presort it and then take it to the post office at the end of the night. I'd drive the big box truck with all the mail to the post office each night.
