I might be willing to try them fried...though I don't like fried oysters (of the sea variety - those I only like slurped from the half-shell with a dab of cocktail sauce!).

it's eggs and milk, and some other stuff..

but it has raw eggs in it and if you're packin' another kid, you can't have any of it, anyway.... :yikes: :2gun:

4 egg yolks
1 (5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups milk
4 egg whites
1 fluid ounce rum
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

In a large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until they are thickened and light. Gradually stir in condensed milk, sugar, vanilla and milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add them to the milk mixture. Stir rum into the mixture (to taste). Garnish with nutmeg.

I have heard it said that the alcohol cooks the eggs..just as the vinegar in Ceasar dressing does when you add the raw egg. ... :dunno:
