I'm scared!!! I'm thinking I should call the nut goo hotline. You know smashing that dough crap isn't easy. I tried the oil on the fingers thing. The hot water thing worked better. Hell - I should have done the flower the fingers thing.

Using a pastry knife thingy works pretty well. I actually did it with the mixer the last time and that worked really well too! I might make some adjustments to the recipe to reflect that because getting the crust right is the hardest part. Everything else is easy!!

You know I was thinking of using 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 butterscotch, melted in seperate bowls and then intermingling them when you pour them over all the stuff.

Crap - I gotta go get one now!!

for those that don't have the cookbook:

BUFFETTBRIDE'S NUT GOO

1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
3 cups miniature marshmallows
1 12oz pkg butterscotch chips
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white corn syrup
2 cups rice krispies
1/2 salted peanuts

Preheat oven to 350. Combine cake mix butter and egg to a crust like consistency. Press in a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 5-10 minutes until it looks done. Place marshmallows over baked layer and bake 5 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Melt the butterscotch chips and mix in the butter and white syrup. Place Rice Krispies and salted peanuts over the baked layer and pour the melted chips over the top. Refrigerate for a short time and then cut.
