We are departing tomorrow to Cinci. Always like to get there a day early to chill out and not have to worry about traveling during concert day. We may go to the Cheeseburger in Paradise down the road.

Sounds nice. Have fun. Wish Jimmy would come to the Northwest this year, Welcome to Fin Land seems like an awesome tour. I'll be listening to the show via Radio Margaritaville—I haven't listened to a live RM broadcast in almost a year, so I'm looking forward to that. It'll be a great show!

I love "Grapefruit—Juicy Fruit" and am glad it made its way back into the setlist the last couple of months after being absent at the beginning of the tour. But damnit, I wish he wouldn't drop "Havaña Daydreamin'" to play it.

Jimmy's singing "Knee Deep" lazily. Is he tired of it already? :blah:

Great show. "Frank and Lola" was worth the listen, and it's nice to see "Gyspies in the Palace" and "Defying Gravity" showing back up in the set. Also nice to see Jimmy mixing things up a bit by putting "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes" in the later part of the show. GR is signing out. Good night!

Why was Defying Gravity for Neil Armstrong?

BTW, why would he play Defying Gravity for Neil? He didn't die, that I know of, and that's what Jimmy always plays as a tribute. Can't find anything online that would lead me to believe something has happened to him.

It was kind of weird, he mentioned seeing Neil's son at the last shuttle launch and then dedicated it to Neil who he apparently didn't see. When he started talking about space I thought he might do "Somewhere over China" but I guess that would require rehearsal.

I thought "Defying Gravity" made a lot of sense for Neil Armstrong. He is from Ohio, and too, that's what astronauts do, they defy gravity.

Figured there had to be some kind of connection. Thanks
