I was at the Buffett concert on Saturday in East Troy, WI. We had tickets to the VIP party and a band called Cedar Island Bland played. Great band and they new every Buffett song we wanted to hear, yes the stuff that never get's played at concert's... I talked to them after the concert because I would like them to play at my house next summer for a party. The website is http://www.cedarislandband.net
and no I am not an agent, although right now I sound like one. Great time, great band....now if I could have only gotten back stage to hang with Jimmy....

A1A the band is the best I have seen, originally it was Jeff Pike and Scott Nickerson, now they have gotten bigger. I am not sure anymore, but Corona use to sponsor them. They have a great show. They are based out of GA, but travel all over, any of you Parrothead clubs out there, they are worth booking for parties, we use to get them once a year. The website is http://www.a1a-live.com/, or http://www.jeffpike.com. I believe Scott Nickerson was the first guy to get the national parrothead club going, he has played on stage with Jimmy. Great guys.

Yes, Scott is the founder of Parrotheads in Paradise and approached Jimmy's people about the whole thing years ago.

The last that I heard Scott was living in Carolina Beach, a great place just down the road from where I used to live. He has had some health issues and that may or may not be why he isn't playing with Jeff any more, but Jeff is based out of Atlanta anywho.

Great guys and a great band, although I confess that it's been years since I have seen them play.

Scott has had some health problems and I did not see him last spring when I went to see A1A at the Lazy Peach in GA. I guess he will still play once in awhile. Jeff was there and I surprised him, it had been about 9 yrs since I had seen him play. Hopefully it will not be that long again. I was at the A1A live concert they have on CD, Jerry Shea introduces them, he was the Pres. of the Minneapolis Parrothead club.

Anyone else out there seen Micheal Beans {Cap't Beans} play on Marina Cay in the British Virgin Islands?? Not really a Buffett tribute band, but he does some Buffett along with a great Pirate show.
