Unemployment sucks. They'll tell you one thing on the phone and then when you go in, it's a totally different story. I just want to go back to school so I can retrain because Big Pharma is pulling out of NJ. A few years ago I thought I had my life figured out. Why is this so fucking difficult?!

OK, OK.....you were right MAD Science would definitely have been the way to go. I just thought that going into Pharma I'd have access to some good drugs. Unfortunately that pipe dream never came to fruition.

Update:
My unemployment will continue at least another year. Tomorrow I start at a 1 year nursing school. I will be going to school full time so in 1 year I will be a Licensed Practical Nurse. I'm looking forward to going back to school and making a change to better myself.

Wife's going through it right now. It's a lot of work but the payoff will be good. Great career that is in high demand and pays well.

Congrats on your decision!!! One of my group of oldest gurlphriends quit her job at 40 and went back to school to be a NP. All of us have been so proud of her!!!
