Welcome to Fin Land Tour Closed Out in Kansas City

April 22nd, 2012

It was Fin Land time again in Kansas City as Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band closed out the Welcome to Fin Land Tour at the Sprint Center on Saturday night.

The set list contained a few gems, including Chanson Pour Les Petits Enfants and The Captain and the Kid.

The Kansas City Star has a review of the show:

Buffett last played Kansas City on April 30, 2011; before that show, nearly 14 years had passed since his previous Kansas City stop. Curiously, Saturday’s crowd seemed louder and more raucous than last year’s.

He lit the fuse early. After opening with the introspective “One Particular Harbor” and then a cover of “Hey, Good Lookin’,” he uncorked “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” his homage to day drinking. The crowd hurled itself into that one like it was an encore.

The Lounging at the Lagoon Tour kicks off in June. Get your tickets now!
